The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) is a charity which exists to educate members of the public by increasing their knowledge and understanding of Photography. As part of their development process, the RPS offers three levels of membership distinction, namely Licentiate, Associate & Fellowship. Each level requires the submission of a panel of images, which are then considered by a group of RPS assessors to establish whether the required photographic standard has been achieved. This page, and the website in general, is a record of my journey into the world of photography, with the ultimate goal of achieving the FRPS distinction. It is a significant challenge, and one that will take several years to complete. I hope you find the photographs I take during this period of learning and discovery to be interesting. In any case, feel free to contact me with any comments, tips or suggestions you may have. To find out more about RPS distinctions please click on the button below.
