Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (LRPS).
The first steps. To achieve the Licentiate it is necessary to show a variety of approach and techniques, but not necessarily in subject matter.
These images formed the basis of my successful LRPS submission to the Royal Photographic Society, which is the initial stage of the RPS distinction trilogy.

A special mention to Adel, who endured more than most during the creation of the creation of this panel.
Singer at Sunset. This image was taken at Dysart Harbour, on one of the coldest days of the winter. Even years later rumour has it that Adel has not warmed back up.
Grey Seal Reflection. Taken from a safe distance on one of the Fife Islands where these animals go to breed.
Pollination in Progress. Loved the detail of the flower and bee in this shot.
Kenny, a fellow photographer. This photograph was taken outdoor in natural light, even though it looks like a studio shot.
Winter Squirrel. Taken just after dawn on a very chilly morning. The white colour on the fur is actually frost.
Fly Macro. We can often miss the detail in the common things around us.
Hoverfly gathering pollen.
A Fulmar Soaring. My favourite wee seabird. It took several months to get the photograph I wanted.
Dream Machine. A Ferrari on track.

The Graffiti Artist. Adel looking very happy to be outside in a t shirt late in the evening.
