Forth Islands Heritage Group (FIGH) was created to enable local people to learn more about the cultural and natural history of the islands located within the Firth of Forth.
It is run by volunteers, of which I am one, who give their time freely to carry out research and survey work.
The group also works closely with the UK Centre for Hydrology and Ecology and the local company Seahunter Marine.
